Review of Bill Morin, WAM Construction of Spokane WA

I hired Bill Morin of Spokane based WAM Construction to build my house and I can’t tell you how disappointed I was both in his level of professionalism and quality of construction. I would never recommend using Bill Morin or WAM Construction in Spokane or wherever you might be. In the construction of my house I had many issues with lack of project management skills. Conversations would be forgotten, details were often neglected and subs were not lined up to get to my project in time. Also in my review of Bill Morin and WAM Construction of Spokane I’d have to mention that there were numerous quality of construction and completion issues. So many there were never fixed or completed that I had to hire an attorney to try and get Bill Morin to come back to my house and finish or fix the work. If you have any questions or for some reason are still considering hiring Bill Morin or WAM Construction in Spokane please email or call me anytime. Good luck!

Nick and his now x-wife were going through a divorce during the construction of their home. Nick has a rather large ego and refused to pay for any additional changes during the course of construction. This resulted in several deficiencies that were corrected for no additional costs to the Murtos. Bill Morin has been doing construction in Spokane for over 20 years and has literally hundreds of great references. This is one disgruntled egomaniac with good internet savvy not a reflection of the quality of WAM's work.

Having worked for Bill Morin on a couple jobs, I completely agree with Mr. Murto. Bill is a knowledgeable guy, but his inability to hire professional people to do his work and his inability to keep up with schedules and professional construction practices was always a concern. He would hire drug addicts and give them plenty of alcohol after work. He would blow all the money he was paid so there would be nothing left for the subs he had working for him. He still owes a lot of people money. He was last known to be having an affair and "dying of cancer.".

I like to stick to the facts and skip the name calling. I'll leave that to Bill (William). Yeah I guess I have an ego? But I just had expectations that my home would be well built. That didn't happen. I feel that working with Bill was a mistake and if you are considering working with Bill Morin or WAM construction in Spokane Washington please talk to me or anyone else that Bill Morin has worked with. I don't feel it's worth the risk in working with Bill Morin of WAM Construction in Spokane Washington. -Nick Murto

Bill is a very nice guy. I just wouldn't hire Bill Morin of WAM Construction in Spokane Washington to build any construction project that I was a part of.

Besides you and one of your employees,(Jeremy) for whom I never worked for but did submit one bid, did you have any other of my literally hundreds of customers add any kind of negative comment to your blog Nick?

Here's another question, did you sue WAM for our supposedly faulty construction? No because there were no defects, just a big bruised ego named Nick.

Happy clients include but are not limited to; Instant Sign Factory, Dave and Judy Nail, Hennessey Smith Funeral Home, Sterling Hospitality, Sherwin Williams, Columbia Paints, Thompson Chevron, Auto Rain Sprinklers, Spokane Seed, American West Bank, Gus Johnson Ford, The Isabella House, College Place Apartments etc...30-years in this business and I've never been involved in a law suite and will never build a house for an egomaniac again.

So weird, I figured that it made no sense to sue, since WAM didn't have two nickels to rub together. Bill and my attorney actually did meet at my house and we both figured that there was nothing we could get from him, and he was full of lies that day anyway. It might have been drugs, who knows. I just know that the guy that showed up wasn't the guy that promised the world when I first hired him. If anyone wants to visit my place I'd be happy to show them what it's like. I'd also encourage them to talk to other people that worked with that guy. I didn't ask anyone for a review either positive or negative, but I think those first hand interviews would be beneficial. - Nick Murto
